NAVIGATING GRIEF

breathwork and sound workshop to Support with loss, Life Transitions, Stress, Trauma, and GrieF

Morning Sound & Breathwork Workshop:

Navigating Grief

Saturday 15th November - 10am to 12 noon

In collaboration with Heatherley Park

Grief touches every one of us — not only through the death of a loved one, but also through life’s many changes and endings. A move, a breakup, a loss of health, identity, or purpose — all of these create waves of grief that can sit quietly within us.

This morning workshop offers a safe, compassionate space to gently explore those feelings through the transformative practices of sound and breathwork.

Led by Elizabeth Reahfuneral celebrant, professional singer & musician, and qualified breathwork & therapeutic practitioner — this session blends the science of the nervous system with the healing power of sound and breath to support emotional release and regulation.

What You’ll Experience

  • Guided breathwork designed to calm the body, quiet the mind, and restore balance to your nervous system.

  • Immersive sound healing, using voice and vibration to soothe your mind, body, and spirit.

  • Moments of reflection and connection, where you can share or simply be — supported by a small, understanding group.

  • Refreshments and conversation afterward, offering space to land gently before you return to your day.

This workshop is for anyone who is living with grief — in any of its forms
For those who have lost someone they love.
For those moving through change — the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, a move, a diagnosis, a dream that didn’t unfold.

For those who feel the quiet ache of loss but can’t quite name it.

If you’re carrying something heavy and long for a gentle, safe space to rest, breathe, and begin to release — this morning is for you.

Why This type of therapeutic experience works

Grief is not only emotional — it’s physiological. When we grieve, our nervous system shifts into protection mode.
Breathwork and sound therapy have been shown to:

  • Lower cortisol and stress hormones

  • Improve sleep quality and emotional resilience

  • Support nervous system regulation and a sense of safety in the body

This workshop combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches with creative, human connection, giving you tools to process grief with gentleness and understanding.
