Frequently Asked Questions

  • Doors open at 6:30pm. The concert runs from 7:00–9:00pm.

  • Yes. There will be a paid bar open from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.

    Guests are very welcome to arrive early, enjoy a drink, and make an evening of it.

  • Cash is highly preferred, and we strongly encourage bringing cash if you’re able, due to the volume of people attending.

    There will be limited card payment available.

  • £5 for a glass of wine

    £4 for a beer

    £3 for a soft drink

  • Yes it is fully seated

  • St Mary’s Church has accessible entrances. If you have specific access needs or questions, please get in touch in advance and we’ll do our best to support you.

  • Children aged 8 and over are welcome at a parent or guardian’s discretion.

    This is a seated concert that requires extended periods of quiet and stillness, so please consider whether this will be comfortable for your child and for other audience members.

    Some music will be recognisable, while much of it will be created live in the moment.

  • Elizabeth is a specialist improvisation vocalist, meaning much of the music is created live and unrepeated.

    Aside from a small number of reimagined classical works, the majority of the performance is freely improvised, making each Aurora a completely unique, one-off experience.

  • Yes. Aurora will be broadcast live online via YouTube.

    If you’ve purchased an online ticket, your livestream link will be sent to you within 24 hours of the concert.

  • VIP tickets (£35) include:

    • Premium seating in the first three rows

    • One complimentary drink from the bar

  • Community tickets (£15) are offered to help make Aurora more accessible.

    They are ideal for those on Universal Credit, a low income, or in a financially tight season, and are offered on a trust basis.

    • No proof is required

    • A maximum of two Community tickets per person

    • This ticket can be used for either in-person attendance or online access

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

    Due to venue, production, and ticketing costs being incurred in advance, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Thank you for your understanding.

  • If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to gift or transfer your ticket to someone else. Please ensure they bring the ticket or confirmation email with them.

  • The nearest and most convenient car parks are:

    • Denne Road Car Park — a short walk to St Mary’s Church

    • Piries Place Car Park — a larger car park a few minutes’ walk away

    There are additional town-centre parking options nearby if needed.
