MEET ELIZABETH
Less than a decade ago I would never have imagined my life would be where it is today… Weaving together music, therapeutic practice, love and service…
Because the truth is… I almost didn't survive.
Here is a little of my story…….
Music was my first love. I started singing at the age of three and, in 1994, was fortunate to become one of the first eighteen girl choristers at Wells Cathedral. Music was my home. It gave me purpose, belonging and a way of expressing things that words never could.
My path then took an unexpected turn. For sixteen years I worked in banking and finance as a Head of Human Resources, living and working in both London and Hong Kong. It was a rewarding career, but one that also gave me a deep understanding of pressure, responsibility and the impact that stress can have on our wellbeing.
Alongside my career, I was navigating my own challenges with addiction, unresolved trauma, anxiety, chronic stress and, eventually, burnout.
For many years, my cocaine addiction quietly consumed every part of my life. I barely slept. I was constantly running, constantly striving, constantly trying to hold everything together whilst, inside, I was falling apart. From the outside, I looked successful. Behind closed doors, I was exhausted, frightened and deeply lost.
It brought me to my knees.
There were times when I genuinely didn't know if I would survive. Looking back now, I know it is only by the grace of God that I am here today. Recovery didn't simply give me my life back—it gave me a completely new life.
In 2021, I made the decision to leave the corporate world, return home to the UK and dedicate my life to work that brings together everything I'd learned—my professional musicianship, my therapeutic training and my lived experience.
Today, I specialise in therapeutic sound and breathwork. My work isn't about traditional sound baths. It's about creating carefully crafted therapeutic experiences, rooted in professional musicianship, where live music, therapeutic sound and breathwork come together to support calm, connection and wellbeing.
That work now takes me into many different spaces from care homes, corporate wellbeing, luxury hotels, vineyards, facilitating a retreat, solo concerts or one-to-one sessions in person or online. Although the settings are different, the intention is always the same: to create spaces where people can pause, breathe and reconnect with themselves.
Accessibility is one of the values that sits at the heart of everything I do. While I love working with businesses, hotels and organisations, I'm equally passionate about bringing this work into charities, recovery services, community groups and places where people might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it. I believe everyone deserves access to experiences that support wellbeing, regardless of their circumstances.
Whatever brought you to this page, thank you for taking the time to be here. I truly hope our paths cross soon.
